It takes time and resources to edit and produce four issues a year to meet the standards we’ve set. We hope you will help us continue to do this vital work by supporting NER with a financial contribution. New England Review has relied on Middlebury College for its operating budget since 1987. Subscription and licensing revenues cover many of the operating costs, but the bulk of expenses have been generously covered by the College and by NER’s endowment fund. However, because of the economic downturn and the College’s need to address its immediate effects, NER will be required, by the end of 2014, to meet all of its operating costs through additional fundraising and subscriptions.
We are making every effort to cut expenditures wherever possible, but we’re counting on loyal readers like you to help support NER through its fourth decade of publication. Every gift not only helps with the costs of producing the magazine but is a vote of support for the continuation of New England Review.
