Janice Obuchowski has her BA in English from Cornell University, her MA in English from the University of Virginia, and her MFA in fiction from the University of California, Irvine. She’s served on the admissions board for the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and has been a lecturer at the University of Vermont and Middlebury College. She’s a fiction editor at New England Review, and her fiction has appeared in Gettysburg Review, Passages North, Slice, and Seattle Review.
The Gettysburg Review nominated her story “Sully,” which appeared in its summer 2015 issue, for the Pushcart Prize. Most recently, she received an Emerging Artist Award in literature from the St. Botolph Club Foundation of Boston.
